DocsKoala
Documentation that updates itself after every PR merge
What this is
Auto-generates and updates customer-facing help articles from merged GitHub PRs, for dev teams whose docs go stale after every ship.
Our one-line summary — not the founder’s tagline.
- How it works
- Watches merged GitHub PRs and automatically classifies whether a change is customer-facing, retrieves related existing help articles, and drafts an update grounded only in the diff and PR title; triggers on merge to main or on-demand via a '/koala' tag.
- What's different
- Never invents claims the diff doesn't support.

Where it shows up
Every group here is a page of its own — each one checked daily.
The numbersIs it still shipping, is it overpriced, where did it land — and what the price is built from.
League price & chart
No money. No seat. It goes on your record — and in 28 days reality settles it.
Calls are closed while we rebuild accounts. You can still read every one of them.
AI. Launched 8d ago on PeerPush, where it placed #561. Today, the site itself changed 2d ago — evidence it's still shipping, not just announcing.
Quiet for 1 day — no penalty yet, but quiet doesn't stay free.
We check this site every day, ourselves. A founder can post “still working on it” — a claim like that doesn't price. What we price is what we can verify from the outside: evidence, not announcements. The real question isn't “will this be huge?” — it's “will they still be moving in four weeks?”

The market viewHow this launch is priced and ranked in our league — the investor side of the page.
ranked by the reality anchor, not the market price
It placed #561 on PeerPush with 51 votes. It also showed up on 2 other boards — but didn't place well enough on any of them, so none of them add to the price. Listing on twelve directories is free; placing well on them isn't.
No matter how much money goes in. There is no pump here — you can't make yourself right by buying more. The line only moves on things that actually happened: an award, revenue that grew, a new platform, code that shipped — or silence.
3 quiet days in between are left out — nothing happened on them. A launch that goes quiet eases down a little at a time — never a cliff you could have run from the night before.
No names, on purpose — a call is worth what it turns out to be worth, not who made it.
How the launch is moving on its own board, day by day — the crowd's attention.
A flat line is normal: votes stop within a day or two of launch, on every board. What's unusual — and what actually counts — is a launch that keeps pulling votes long after its day is over.
About
DocsKoala watches your merged GitHub PRs and turns them into help articles, automatically. Most teams write documentation the same broken way. Someone has to remember, after shipping a feature, to update the help center. In practice that rarely happens on time. Customers end up reading stale docs, or opening support tickets for things that already changed weeks ago. DocsKoala fixes this by triggering off the actual thing that causes docs to go stale: the code itself. How it works Connect your GitHub repos through the DocsKoala GitHub App in under two minutes. Docs trigger two ways: automatically on PR merge to main, or on demand by tagging "/koala" in a commit message or PR description. DocsKoala classifies each merged change (is this customer facing?), retrieves related existing articles, and drafts an update grounded only in the diff and PR title. It never invents claims the diff doesn't support. A built in critique pass checks every draft before you see it. For example, if a draft claims a feature is "available on all plans" but that wasn't in the diff, the critique step strips it out automatically. Every draft lands in a Review Inbox with a confidence score, typically 85 to 95 percent. You approve, edit, or dismiss with one click. Nothing publishes without explicit human approval. Most drafts appear within about a minute of the merge, and DocsKoala notes whether it published a new article or updated an existing one, so nothing gets duplicated. A concrete example Say a PR titled "Add CSV export button" merges. DocsKoala retrieves related articles, drafts an update grounded strictly in the diff and PR title, then strips any claim not actually in the code. The final article publishes as an update to the existing "Exporting your data" page, not a new duplicate, keeping your help center from fragmenting. A hosted help center, not just automation Every workspace gets a fully hosted public help center out of the box, live the moment you publish your first article. Use the default subdomain, or point a custom domain at it on paid plans for full white label branding. Not starting from zero? Point DocsKoala at your existing marketing site, docs, or FAQ pages, and it scans and drafts your first batch of articles before you've merged a single new PR. Live import is a paid plan feature; imported drafts go through the same review gate as PR triggered ones. An AI widget that cites its sources Drop one script tag into any page and you get Ask Koala, an embeddable assistant that answers customer questions using only your published, approved documentation. Every answer links back to its source article, and always reflects your latest approved content, never something stale or hallucinated. How this differs from generic AI writing tools DocsKoala isn't a chatbot you prompt to "write some docs." It has no starting point except your actual code changes, so it can't drift into generic or made up advice. It reads the merged diff plus the PR title, reasons about what the change means, then checks its own output against that same diff before it reaches you. Built with trust as the default DocsKoala only reads the files changed in a merged PR, never a full export of your codebase. Every tenant is isolated with default deny row level security, so your data is never visible to other workspaces. Drafts stay private until explicitly approved, and every published article keeps a version history you can roll back. Pricing Startup, $39/month: 75 articles generated per month, 250 AI widget answers per month, up to 5 team members. Scale, $99/month (most popular): 250 articles per month, 800 AI answers per month, custom domain plus white label widget. Growth, $299/month: 600 articles per month, 2,000 AI answers per month, advanced usage analytics. All plans start with a 7 day free trial, no credit card required. If you hit a monthly cap, nothing breaks and you're never auto charged extra: new drafts pause until the next billing cycle, but your published help center and existing articles stay live. Upgrading raises both caps immediately. Who it's for Small to mid sized product and engineering teams who ship fast and don't have a dedicated technical writer, or who have one but want the tedious first draft handled automatically. If your help center hasn't been touched since your last release, DocsKoala closes that gap without adding process overhead. What you can expect Docs that update within minutes of a merge instead of rotting for months. A public help center live from day one, no separate CMS or hosting setup required. Fewer repetitive support tickets, since Ask Koala answers common questions directly with citations. Because every draft is grounded in the real diff and passes a critique step before reaching you, review takes seconds instead of a full rewrite. Start a 7 day free trial. Connect GitHub, pick your repos, and your first AI drafted article typically appears within 60 seconds of your next merged PR.

3 platforms| Platform | Votes | Counts toward price | Link |

The board it did best on sets the price. Every other board only adds to it if the launch also placed high on that board too — because just showing up somewhere isn't an achievement. Listing on twelve directories is free; placing well on them isn't.
