About
I created letr.es after searching for a truly simple blogging platform that would let me write and publish with no distractions, no ads, no tracking, no analytics, with a clean WYSIWYG Markdown editor, and the ability to subscribe via RSS or newsletter. Letr.es is a solo project: concept, design, front-end and back-end development, deployment. The challenge was finding the right balance between convenience, usefulness, and minimalism. Built with Nuxt 4, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS for the frontend, self-hosted Supabase as the backend, and Paddle for billing. The entire platform runs on VPS hosted in the EU.
