PhotoSignal
Weather, tide, moon, sky alerts for landscape photography
What this is
Watches weather, tide, moon and sky forecasts for your saved locations and alerts you when good conditions line up — built for landscape and seascape photographers.
Our one-line summary — not the founder’s tagline.
- How it works
- Monitors saved locations against weather, tide, moon and sky forecasts, and sends alerts when conditions align for a shot, based on rules the user defines (cloud cover, wave height, wind, rain, visibility, humidity, and more).
- What's different
- Replaces checking several separate weather apps, tide charts, moon calendars and cloud forecasts; shows the underlying forecast signals instead of a black-box sunset score.
- Best for
- Landscape and seascape photographers who track specific locations for shooting conditions.

No money. No seat. It goes on your record — and in 28 days reality settles it.

Analytics. Launched 18d ago on PeerPush, where it placed #496. Today, it's been quiet for 15 days and the price has started to bleed.
Already bleeding a little every day, and it accelerates the longer it stays quiet.
We check this site every day, ourselves. A founder can post “still working on it” — a claim like that doesn't price. What we price is what we can verify from the outside: evidence, not announcements. The real question isn't “will this be huge?” — it's “will they still be moving in four weeks?”

ranked by the reality anchor, not the market price
It placed #496 on PeerPush with 8 votes.
No matter how much money goes in. There is no pump here — you can't make yourself right by buying more. The line only moves on things that actually happened: an award, revenue that grew, a new platform, code that shipped — or silence.
En eski 4 hareket bu listede yok — toplam 16 olay var. 1 quiet day in between are left out — nothing happened on them. A launch that goes quiet eases down a little at a time — never a cliff you could have run from the night before.
How the launch is moving on its own board, day by day — the crowd's attention.
A flat line is normal: votes stop within a day or two of launch, on every board. What's unusual — and what actually counts — is a launch that keeps pulling votes long after its day is over.
About
PhotoSignal is a custom weather alert app for landscape and seascape photographers. It helps photographers monitor saved locations for promising weather, tide, moon, and sky conditions, then sends alerts when those conditions may line up. Instead of repeatedly checking several weather apps, tide charts, moon calendars, and cloud forecasts, users can define the signals they care about and let PhotoSignal watch the forecast for them. Alert rules can include simple forecast conditions such as cloud cover, high clouds, wave height, wind, rain, visibility, humidity, and more. PhotoSignal also includes photography-focused smart checks for patterns such as fog potential, frost change, rain clearing, full moon timing, and moonrise or moonset near key light windows. The app is designed to be transparent. It avoids black-box “sunset scores” and fake certainty, showing the underlying signals so photographers can make their own decisions. Advanced sky context features can analyse nearby cloud and horizon conditions by direction, helping identify situations where light may break through or where the broader sky pattern matters more than the local point forecast. PhotoSignal sends upcoming, imminent, and cancellation notifications, making it useful for planning sunrise, sunset, fog, storm, seascape, tide, and moon-related photography opportunities. It is built for photographers who want to spend less time checking forecasts manually and more time arriving when the scene has a chance to work.

The board it did best on sets the price. Every other board only adds to it if the launch also placed high on that board too — because just showing up somewhere isn't an achievement. Listing on twelve directories is free; placing well on them isn't.
