Put a paywall on your attention, set a price for chat and emails
What this is
We haven’t read this one yet — so we won’t describe it in our own words. What’s below is measured, not written.
What we measured
Nobody else publishes this — it comes from knocking on the door every day.
- Watched by us
- since today
- Last checked
- 3h ago
The numbersIs it still shipping, is it overpriced, where did it land — and what the price is built from.
Productivity. Launched 3h ago on BetaList. Today, it's live, but nothing on the site has changed since we started watching.
Moving right now. The clock only starts when a launch goes quiet.
We check this site every day, ourselves. A founder can post “still working on it” — a claim like that doesn't price. What we price is what we can verify from the outside: evidence, not announcements. The real question isn't “will this be huge?” — it's “will they still be moving in four weeks?”
About
sift.mx gives you one handle for email and chat and lets you decide who gets through. Keep your existing inbox, whitelist trusted contacts, and set a fee that unknown senders must pay to reach you. Whitelisted people message you for free; everyone else pays your cover charge, and the money goes to you. Chat between sift users is end-to-end encrypted, and forwarding rules keep your inbox clean.
Where it launched
2 platformsThe board it did best on sets the price. Every other board only adds to it if the launch also placed high on that board too — because just showing up somewhere isn't an achievement. Listing on twelve directories is free; placing well on them isn't.
