What this is

A Chrome extension that learns which parts of a YouTube video you always skip, like intros or slow scenes, and skips them automatically on rewatch — built for anime edit and AMV fans.

Our one-line summary — not the founder’s tagline.

How it works
A Chrome extension where you mark which segments of a YouTube video to skip — like intros or slow scenes — and it auto-skips them on every rewatch.
What's different
Lets you create a personal edit of any YouTube video without re-uploading or editing the actual file.
Best for
People who rewatch the same anime edits, AMVs or YouTube videos repeatedly and always skip the same parts.

Already bleeding a little every day, and it accelerates the longer it stays quiet.

We check this site every day, ourselves. A founder can post “still working on it” — a claim like that doesn't price. What we price is what we can verify from the outside: evidence, not announcements. The real question isn't “will this be huge?” — it's “will they still be moving in four weeks?”

It placed #550 on PeerPush with 3 votes.

Backing it does not move the price.

No matter how much money goes in. There is no pump here — you can't make yourself right by buying more. The line only moves on things that actually happened: an award, revenue that grew, a new platform, code that shipped — or silence.

How the launch is moving on its own board, day by day — the crowd's attention.
A flat line is normal: votes stop within a day or two of launch, on every board. What's unusual — and what actually counts — is a launch that keeps pulling votes long after its day is over.

About

I got tired of manually skipping the same parts in anime edits, so I built this tool... I watch a lot of anime edits and AMVs on YouTube. The problem with anime edits is that once you've rewatched them 20, 50, even 100 times, there are definitely sections of the video you always skip over: The long intro The slow building scene Certain characters' portions of the edit The outro I noticed that when rewatching the same anime edit, I would manually skip the exact same timestamps each time. That's why I created VSkim. VSkim is a Chrome extension where users can save skims for certain YouTube videos. Simply select which segments of the video not to watch, and VSkim will do all the skipping for you. In essence, create your personal edition of the video! I made it specifically for anime edits and AMVs, but it works with any YouTube video. Feedback would be appreciated.

The board it did best on sets the price. Every other board only adds to it if the launch also placed high on that board too — because just showing up somewhere isn't an achievement. Listing on twelve directories is free; placing well on them isn't.
