What this is

Paste a YouTube DJ set link and get a timestamped tracklist with links to Spotify, Apple Music, and Beatport — for listeners hunting down songs, not a browser extension.

Our one-line summary — not the founder’s tagline.

How it works
Paste a YouTube DJ set URL and it identifies every track, returning a timestamped tracklist with links to Spotify, Apple Music and Beatport, sourced from video descriptions, pinned comments, community comments and YouTube's own music data, then cross-checked against major music services.
What's different
Uses existing crowd-sourced tracklist data rather than audio fingerprinting.
Best for
Listeners trying to find the name of a track played in a DJ mix.

Quiet for 3 days — no penalty yet, but quiet doesn't stay free.

We check this site every day, ourselves. A founder can post “still working on it” — a claim like that doesn't price. What we price is what we can verify from the outside: evidence, not announcements. The real question isn't “will this be huge?” — it's “will they still be moving in four weeks?”

Why 317 points?REALITY PRICE

It placed #493 on PeerPush with 5 votes.

Backing it does not move the price.

No matter how much money goes in. There is no pump here — you can't make yourself right by buying more. The line only moves on things that actually happened: an award, revenue that grew, a new platform, code that shipped — or silence.

3 quiet days in between are left out — nothing happened on them. A launch that goes quiet eases down a little at a time — never a cliff you could have run from the night before.

How the launch is moving on its own board, day by day — the crowd's attention.
A flat line is normal: votes stop within a day or two of launch, on every board. What's unusual — and what actually counts — is a launch that keeps pulling votes long after its day is over.

About

WhatsTheID identifies every song in a YouTube DJ set. Paste a video URL and you get back a full tracklist, complete with precise timestamps and direct links to listen on platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and Beatport. Instead of guessing or relying on audio fingerprinting, WhatsTheID gathers a set's tracklist from where DJs and listeners already share it — the video description, the creator's pinned comment, the community's comments, and YouTube's own "Music in this video" data. It then cross-checks each track against the major music services to confirm a real match, attaching verified links, cover art, and the original artist and title so you're not left with a half-remembered name. Every track is pinned to its exact moment in the mix, so you can jump straight to the drop you came for, follow the set in order, or scan ahead to see what's coming. And because dance sets are full of unreleased music, WhatsTheID is built for it: when a track is a genuine "ID — ID" that hasn't been released yet, it's kept in the tracklist and clearly marked, rather than dropped — so you see the whole set, not just the songs that are easy to look up. Beyond a single URL, WhatsTheID is a growing library of sets. You can search across mixes, DJs, artists, and individual tracks; browse by channel; and follow your favorite DJs so their new uploads are scanned automatically. When you find a set you love, you can send its tracklist straight to a Spotify playlist in one tap, and a browser extension lets you add the set you're watching without leaving YouTube. The result: the question every dance-music fan has shouted at a speaker — what's the ID? — answered in seconds, for any set, with links to go listen right now.

The board it did best on sets the price. Every other board only adds to it if the launch also placed high on that board too — because just showing up somewhere isn't an achievement. Listing on twelve directories is free; placing well on them isn't.
