What Sabrtime doesn't do

Questions people ask

Does SabrTime cost anything?

No. The app is free and runs on donations. If you want to support it, you can give any amount by UPI, card or netbanking, but nothing is locked behind it.

Do I have to sign up, and will I see ads?

No to both. Prayer times, the Qibla compass, the dua library and the tasbeeh counter open without a login, and there are no ads.

Do the duas and hadith show where they come from?

Yes, the ones on the home screen do. The sunnah of the day is cited to Sunan Abi Dawud 1522, and the morning dua is marked as from Muslim.

What is in the daily ibadah tracker?

Six things to tick off each day: Fajr, Quran recitation of at least one page, Dhuhr and Asr, morning dhikr, Maghrib and Isha, and a personal dua. The days of the current week run along the top.

How do Sabr Points work?

You earn points for small acts in the app, such as reading a dua, completing an ibadah item or checking in each day. Streaks add a bonus at 7 days and again at 30 days, and points move you from Beginner toward Believer.

How does the tasbeeh counter work?

You tap to count, so you can keep your dhikr without beads. The morning dhikr item in the tracker follows the familiar count of SubhanAllah 33, Alhamdulillah 33 and AllahuAkbar 34.

Is there anything for someone new to Islam?

Yes. One of the starting options is for people who want to learn, and it leads to beginner guides, the Quran and duas.

What happens when I pick how I'm feeling on the first screen?

The app asks what you are going through, from stressed or anxious to grateful, and then points you to something that fits. If you choose that you need peace, it takes you to reflection, duas and the Sabr timer.

What does logging in with the Pi Network provide?

Logging in with the Pi Network allows you to verify your identity and unlock Pi features. It is not required for tools like prayer times or the dua library.

How can I support the community using the Dua Circle?

You can see when someone in your vicinity is experiencing a hardship and send them a silent prayer. The app tracks how many silent duas have been sent that day.

What kind of Islamic questions can I ask the DeenGuide?

The DeenGuide provides sourced answers for situations where you are unsure what to do or have an Islamic question. It is designed to help you find guidance for your specific situation.
