Germany makes structured e-invoices (ZUGFeRD / Factur-X) man
What this is
Converts PDF invoices into Germany's mandatory ZUGFeRD/Factur-X e-invoice format, and verifies existing ones — a narrow, free compliance tool, not a general invoicing app.
Our one-line summary — not the founder’s tagline.
- How it works
- Converts a PDF invoice into a compliant ZUGFeRD/Factur-X e-invoice (PDF/A-3 with an embedded EN 16931 XML payload), and verifies existing ZUGFeRD/Factur-X PDFs with structural checks and a human-readable parsed view. LLM-based field extraction is reviewed and corrected by the user before conversion.
- What's different
- Built specifically for Germany's E-Rechnungspflicht mandate, requiring B2B companies to receive e-invoices since 2025 and issue them from 2027 or 2028.
- Pricing
- Free, no signup, no credit card.
- Best for
- German B2B companies needing to convert or verify e-invoices for the ZUGFeRD/Factur-X mandate.

Quiet for 1 day — no penalty yet, but quiet doesn't stay free.
We check this site every day, ourselves. A founder can post “still working on it” — a claim like that doesn't price. What we price is what we can verify from the outside: evidence, not announcements. The real question isn't “will this be huge?” — it's “will they still be moving in four weeks?”

ranked by the reality anchor, not the market price
It placed #518 on PeerPush with 4 votes.
No matter how much money goes in. There is no pump here — you can't make yourself right by buying more. The line only moves on things that actually happened: an award, revenue that grew, a new platform, code that shipped — or silence.
1 quiet day in between are left out — nothing happened on them. A launch that goes quiet eases down a little at a time — never a cliff you could have run from the night before.
How the launch is moving on its own board, day by day — the crowd's attention.
A flat line is normal: votes stop within a day or two of launch, on every board. What's unusual — and what actually counts — is a launch that keeps pulling votes long after its day is over.
About
finisma is a free web tool for German B2B compliance. It does two things and nothing else: 1. Convert any PDF invoice into a compliant ZUGFeRD (a.k.a. Factur-X) e-invoice: PDF/A-3 with an embedded EN 16931 XML payload that buyers' accounting systems can read automatically. 2. Verify any ZUGFeRD/Factur-X PDF: structural checks (PDF/A-3, embedded factur-x.xml, AF markers, Factur-X metadata) plus the full parsed invoice in a clean human-readable view. No signup, no credit card, no integration work. Drop a file in the browser, get the result back. Built for the German E-Rechnungspflicht: every B2B company in Germany has to be able to receive e-invoices since 2025, and has to issue them from 2027 (>€800k revenue) or 2028 (all others). Key features (bullet list for the gallery / "features" field) - PDF → ZUGFeRD in ~30 seconds - LLM-based field extraction (you review and correct before commit) - EN 16931 validation built in - ZUGFeRD/Factur-X viewer with parsed invoice display - IBAN cross-check against the original document - Uploaded files auto-delete after 5 minutes - German servers, ISO 27001-certified data center - Free for everyone, no usage caps published

The board it did best on sets the price. Every other board only adds to it if the launch also placed high on that board too — because just showing up somewhere isn't an achievement. Listing on twelve directories is free; placing well on them isn't.
