Size up a market before you enter
Pick a field and see what its products actually say: how they position themselves, what they charge, who they name as an alternative, what proof they publish. No traffic estimates, no analyst summary, no score.
Market opens with an account. Launch pulse and a full sample report are open to everyone.
What you get
A field, answered question by question
The same questions are put to every product in the record, so a market is not a pile of landing pages: it is one table where the rows line up.
How they position
The line each product uses to say it is different, what it says it replaces, whether it publishes a comparison page.
What they charge
Whether a price is on the page at all, free plans and their kind, trials and what they ask for, enterprise tiers.
Who they sell to
The buyer type, company size and industries a product names itself, in its own words.
What proof they publish
Numbers claimed, customer logos, case studies, compliance, and whether a person is named behind the product.
How it works
Where the numbers come from
Every percentage on the page is a count over products we opened and answered, not a sample or an estimate.
- 1
1 · Products arrive from 12 public launch boards
Every morning. Nothing is added by hand and nothing is pay-to-list.
- 2
2 · Each one is read and answered
Home, pricing, contact, the launch post. An answer is kept only with the sentence it came from; a page that does not say it is recorded as not stated.
- 3
3 · You filter, we count
Pick a field and the criteria you care about. The result is the whole set behind the filter, and each row can be opened down to the quote.
Frequently asked
Market research questions we get
What counts as a field?
A topic a product is in, taken from what it says about itself. You can narrow it with the criteria that matter to you, like who it sells to or whether it shows a price.
How is this different from traffic-estimate tools?
Those model how much attention a site gets. This measures what products publish: positioning, pricing, proof and reach, each with the quoted sentence behind it.
Where does the pricing data come from?
The product's own pricing page, read on a schedule. When no price is published, the answer is “not stated” rather than an estimate.
How fresh is it?
New launches are read every morning and tracked sites are re-read on a schedule, so a market page reflects the last reading, not a yearly report.
Do I need an account?
Yes for Market. Launch pulse, this page and a full sample report on a real product (buyers and rivals) are open without one.
