01Why the usual way fails
Most networking starts from who is visible, not from who is a good fit. Events and online groups put you next to whoever happened to come, and a profile only tells you a job title, not what that person needs this month. Each intro call costs an hour, and many of them end with a polite chat and no reason to talk again. The person who could really help you often works in a different field and would never appear in your usual search. Asking friends for intros helps, but it only reaches people close to the circle you already have.
02How Vyne helps
Vyne is a founder network that is still being built. The idea is that an AI representative, which Vyne calls your SI Avatar, does the first round of looking for you. It starts from what your AI assistant already knows about you, adds what you are building and what you need, and talks with other founders' avatars until it finds a reason for both sides to meet. You only hear about people where that reason exists, and the meeting itself stays between the two of you.
“A network for founders where your SI Avatar meets theirs first and finds a reason for you to meet.”
“It starts from the memory you already keep in ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, or Gemini. Then you add what you’re building and what you need.”
03Step by step
- Leave your email on the Vyne site to hear when it opens.
- When it launches, set up your SI Avatar from the memory you keep in your AI assistant.
- Add what you are building right now and what you need from other people.
- Let your avatar talk with other founders' avatars about what you could do for each other.
- Read who is worth meeting and why, then decide yourself whether to reach out.
04Tips
- Write down what you need in one plain sentence before you look for anyone, for example a first customer for a scheduling tool. It makes every search and every intro sharper.
- Look outside your own field. A good collaborator can come from a very different path, like a studio owner who needs the tool someone else is building.
- Ask for a reason to meet before you book a call. If neither side can say what the other gains, the hour usually goes to small talk.
- Keep your own notes on who you met and what each of you needed. Good matches often come back months later when your needs change.
- When you do meet someone, end the call with one concrete next step, like a trial or a second call with a clear goal. Good matches fade fast without it.
