Parties, Open Offices, milestones

A claimed office can throw a party, open its doors to show something new, or share a milestone. Everyone in town sees it on the map. To start one, open your office and tap Announce.

Who can start one

The owner of a claimed office: you signed in and verified the site is yours. Offices nobody has claimed cannot start events. Tablif's own buildings on the campus sometimes host events too.

Every event has its own page you can share, with your office on the map.

Party

• A party lasts 1 hour to 24 hours. You can start it now or schedule it up to 14 days ahead.
• An office can throw one party every 30 days. A Verified Office can throw one every 7 days.
• Up to 5 parties run in town at the same time. When the town is full, pick a later time.
• A party has a title, an optional short description and one optional link. The link can only point to your own site.
• The party shows at your office on the map with pennants and confetti, and visitors see a party card when they open the office.

Open Office

• An Open Office says what is new: a feature, a release, a redesign. It reads "New: " and your title.
• It lasts 1 hour to 3 hours, and you can schedule it up to 14 days ahead.
• An office can open its doors once every 30 days. A Verified Office can do it once every 7 days.
• Up to 10 Open Offices run in town at the same time.
• A board with your "New" line stands at your office on the map while the doors are open.

Milestone

• Milestones are for Verified Offices. Share a real win: your first user, your first paying customer, v1 going live, your first teammate.
• There are 35 kinds in 5 families: users, revenue, product, team and recognition. Each kind can be shared once per office.
• An office can share up to 3 milestones a week.
• Every milestone gets a card with its own page: a few answers in your words and facts Tablif freezes at that moment, such as how long the office has been in town. You can thank up to 3 houses that helped.
• For 24 hours a flag stands at your office on the map. A piece goes into your garden, and it grows with each new win in the same family.
• Anyone signed in can say cheers. The owner can hide a card. A card reported by 3 people is hidden.

The rules

• Events are free. Nobody pays to be shown first, and lists of events run in order of time.
• Write about your own product. No ads for other products, nothing misleading or unlawful.
• We may remove an event that breaks these rules.
