How to get advice that fits your personality results

If you took a personality test and want advice that starts from your actual scores, not a generic description of your type, you need a way to link the two. Most of us read the report once, nod at a few lines and move on. Then a real question comes up, about a hard conversation at work or why the same argument keeps happening at home, and the report has nothing to say about it. So you ask a chatbot, and it answers as if it had never seen your results.

The short answer

SoulType ties its AI coach to the tests you have actually taken in the app. The coach reads your measured scores and answers against them, so it can name your weakest measured axis and the pattern your profile predicts instead of repeating a type summary.

Why the usual way fails

A type description is written for everyone who shares your four letters, so it cannot know that you scored very low on one trait and only just over the line on another. A general chatbot has the opposite problem: it can talk about anything, but unless you paste your whole report in each time, it guesses at who you are. People also tend to remember the flattering parts of a report and forget the measured weak spots, which are usually the parts that explain the problem in front of them. Advice that ignores those numbers sounds reasonable and changes very little.

How SoulType helps

SoulType ties its AI coach to the tests you have actually taken in the app. The coach reads your measured scores and answers against them, so it can name your weakest measured axis and the pattern your profile predicts instead of repeating a type summary. It runs on a hosted model, so it needs an internet connection. When you use it, your message, up to ten recent messages and a summary of your results are sent for processing, while your stored conversation history stays on your phone.

Step by step

  1. Install SoulType on your iPhone. You can start without an account or an email address.
  2. Take at least one assessment, such as the three-minute Express read, so the coach has real scores to work from.
  3. Read your result report first and note the axis that surprised you or scored lowest.
  4. Open the AI Soul Coach while you are online and ask about one concrete situation, not about your type in general.
  5. Save anything worth keeping as a Discovery Note so you can come back to it in your Soul Profile.

Tips

  • Ask about a situation, not a label. A question like what to do before a tense meeting with your manager gives the coach something to apply your scores to, and the answer is easier to test in real life.
  • Take more than one test if you want broader answers. Every finished assessment feeds the same eight-axis portrait, so the coach has more of you to work with.
  • Mind the weekly limit on the free plan. You get 20 coach messages a week, so keep each question focused, or look at Pro if you want to talk without a cap.
  • Treat the advice as a starting point for reflection. SoulType says plainly that its tools are for self-understanding and are not clinical diagnoses, so bring anything serious to a professional.

Questions

Does the coach work offline?

No. The coach is online-only, so you need a connection to get a reply.

Are my coach conversations synced to other devices?
