The checklist
- Install FlexLog on the Wear OS watch you train with.
- Decide whether you also want the phone app. You only need it for phone workouts or to see recent watch summaries.
- Write down the exercises you do on your most common training day.
- Turn that day into a workout template on the watch.
- Note that the free watch plan includes one custom template, so pick the routine you repeat most.
- Choose a rest length per exercise and set the automatic rest countdown.
- Add the FlexLog Tile to your watch so you can start a workout with one swipe.
- Do one practice set at home and log it, so the controls are familiar before the gym.
- Decide where your long-term record lives, since there is no automatic cloud backup.
- If you log on the phone, export the workout journal to a JSON file now and then.
